Game Changer: iPad Pro

Last year I saved up enough money to buy an iPad Pro and an Apple Pencil. And recently I bought the Smart Keyboard. All of these tools have been a major game changer. I’m so glad I got them and here are my reasons why:

1. WRITING NOTES.

I have wanted I iPad ever since they were released, but I HATED using the fat touchscreen keyboard, It does split now, but it’s still really awkward. And I am a kinesthetic learner, meaning I need to writing things down. Now I can easily take notes, which helps me remember things a little better.

2. DRAWING CAPABILITIES.

As a creativepreneur it is important for me to be able to draw and scribble ideas down. With the iPad Pro, Apple Pencil, Procreate app, and a couple Adobe apps, I can draw anything anytime. And from that I have been able to develop a system to easily draw and create printables for my Etsy Shop and Red Bubble shop.

3. “I’M TRAVEL SIZE FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE” -Mushu

This was a big one for me. I didn’t want to splurge on a lap top since I already have an amazing iMac. Some the iPad was a good option. The iPad is crazy thin and light weight even with the case AND Smart Keyboard. And I am crazy minimal when it comes to lugging a purse, technology or any personal items.

4. THE SMART KEYBOARD IS SPILL-PROOF.

I’m a messy and sometimes clumsy eater. I have damaged more keyboards than I care to admit. Need I say more.

5. QUICK EDITS ON AUTODESK.

I do a lot of design work on Adobe Illustrator and I did some digging for an app that can edit Illustrator files, and discovered Autodesk. I can now make minor changes and send designs to clients with ease if I’m not at home in front of my computer.

6. TURNS INTO A DRAWING TABLET FOR MY DESKTOP.

I often see other creativepreneurs going back and forth between their iPad and desktop to transfer hand-drawn designs. Not me (unless I’m out and about). I bought the Astropad app and it is amazing. It not projects my desktop onto my ipad, but I can actually draw on Photoshop or Illustrator if I need more of a sketchy look or more precision with the Apple Pencil.

7. SWEET CAMERA.

I have an iPhone SE at the moment, so this camera is way better. I do have a DSLR, but the iPad Pro has photo editing capabilities that are quick and easy.
